Jim StinnettJim Stinnett is currently a Professor at Berklee College Of Music where he teaches Arranging and Bass. As a student of Edwin Barker and James Harnett, Jim is an accomplished bassist. His extensive list of publications include; The Music Of Paul Chambers, Arcology, Creating Jazz Bass Lines, All Cows Eat Grass, and Reading in Bass Clef. Jim is the founder of the Bass Workout and musical director of the New Hampshire Bass Fest. Today Jim is a highly sought after producer, writer, and arranger of music. Jim and his family reside in New Hampshire.

Some of Jim’s credits include performances with: Joe Diorio, Lionel Loueke, Phineas Newborn Jr., Ernie Watts, Red Garland, “Phish”, Roy Hanes, NTSU 1:00 Lab Band, Gary Burton, Kenwood Dennard, John LaPorta, Jean-Pierre Rampal, Boston Philharmonic Orchestra, Florida Gulf Coast Symphony, and Musicisti Americani Chamber Orchestra in Italy
